Kinnari/Kinnara
In Hindu mythology a Kinnara or a Kinnari is a perpetual lover, who have come from the Himalayas, they watch over the well being of the humans. They go in pairs with mutual love and devotion.
They are half human, half horse or half birds, celestial musicians and are referred to in the Adi Parva of Mahabharata.
