GHARAPURI  - ELEPHANTA CAVES 2

THE GAME OF DICE (PAKADAM, DAYAM in the south, CHOPAT,DYUT, CHAUSAR in the north. A game like LUDO)

Shiva as SUKHASANA MURHTY,  the happy house holder with his family.

Shiva Playing the Game of dice with Parvathi.

UMAPATI or the Husband of UMA also known as UMAKANTA , in celestial bliss relaxing with PARVATHI playing the game of dice.

Shiva-Parvathi seated in Mount Kailash. The bottom portion of the panel is totally devastated. You can still see the form of NANDI, below the picturesque scene of Kailash.

Next to Nandi what looks like the Kubera dwarf blowing a conch.

The lord is adorned with a crown from which GANGA seems to be flowing out. He wears a thin necklace with a snake going across him and another on his arm.

Parvathi is adorned with Jewels and trinkets, with her hair flowing in the front.
Shiva cheats Parvathi into winning. Upset with Shiva, Parvathi turns her head and is annoyed.

Between shiva and Parvathi, in the background you can see a woman holding the child Karthikeya.

The gods, Rishi’s and Ganas are viewing the game from the top of the Panel. Below the viewing gallery of the gods and behind Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvathi , what looks like embossing on the rock some kind of calligraphy, script or inscription. Experts can definitely take a look.
